Batch .doc/xls/ppt (2003) --> .docx/xlsx/pptx (2013) converter?

Is there a way to batch convert documents in the old Office 2003 format to Office 2013 en masse?

Word:

Wordconv.exe -oice -nme input.ext output.ext

Excel:

excelcnv.exe -oice input.ext outupt.ext

PowerPoint:

ppcnvcom.exe -oice input.ext output.ext

You would actually need to find a program to do this. There is a fundamental difference between the two formats. The ***x format is a set of xml files that have been "zipped" up into a single file.
