Hey all,

Sorry to ask such a simple question but is it possible to tell the publishing date of a website? I am trying to figure out approximately when they publish the new scholarships and the only thing I can find regarding that is the site listing last year’s recipients. File -> Properties shows the creation date as today which obviously isn’t correct.

Thank you for your guidance :)

To answer your question, in Firefox (unsure of IE), it's right click>page info.

As AMDbuilder stated, the page was last modified "Friday, May 09, 2008 12:36:11 AM"

EDIT: Heh, didn't realize the page was dynamic. The people below me are correct.

The page has been up for almost a year now but I do not know the exact date. It will show the last modified date as the current date/time

I'm pretty sure you can't tell. Not in this context. You'd need to have access to the server (as in direct access, not a normal HTTP connection) to tell.

If it was a static page, you'd be able to see the last modification date on it but, based on the the way the URL looks, it's stored in a CMS and dynamically generated every time the page is loaded, so you can't tell when it was modified.

You probably want to look for a news item/press release that says when they were announced.

...or call the financial aid office.

With dynamically generated pages as so many are these days this really isn't possible.
