Basic cable color question.

I am working on putting together a computer and am kinda having a brain lapse. I am trying to hook up the power switch, reset switch, power led, etc.. I forgot if the white cable is always always the ground, or not. Thanks for the help!!! :D
 
It doesn't matter for any of those.

Power and reset switches will work either way, the LEDs simply won't light up if you get them backwards.
 
It doesn't matter for the power or reset. With the leds, if you do it backwards, just turn the connectors around.
 
The coloured one *should* be the positive. I have seen cases where this was backwards, but it's not too often.
