The Bartons have thermal diodes that monitor the temp of the core right? I'm currently using MBM5 to monitor my temps but I was wondering how you guys use the diode on the CPU itself to monitor the temp.
 
Yes they have the thermal diode, as all of the XP's do as far as I know. As stated above you need a motherboard that can read the diode though, all of my Asus boards thus far have this ability.
 
Hmm, how can I find out if my Mobo supports that? Does it say somewhere or is it just a trial and error thing?
