Hey, I just ordered a new 2500+ but mobile from newegg instead of regular (which I have now). I've heard and seen really good oc's so I decided to go for it.

Anyone got one of these and had good success with it?

Also, will it be locked? If so does my Abit NF7-S mobo unlock it? Or do I need to do the wire trick to it?

Hehe, got school tomorrow and I cant sleep im so giddy:D

They're great processor.
they're unlocked from the factory (but I think your mobo has problems going over 13x multiplier.

my 2400 can do 2600mhz on water at 1.9v (bios allows for 2.0v max.)
 
hrmmm I've just been reading up on the OC forums and heard lots of good things about the nf7-s and along with your DFI lanparty/infinity. They say that they're the few boards that allow the multi to be unlocked.

I dont believe they're unlocked from the factory.
