Right seen as im new to this and im haveing trouble overclocking i hope you can help

Right ive just installed coolermaster aquagate external water cooler +coolermaster real power 450
Cpu temp has been steady running all night at 35 degrees
Now when i go int the bios all im doing is increasing the fsb to 200 ie takeing it straight to a 3200
The pc boots no prob into windows the problems start when i use codecreatures or 3dmark 2005 they get so far in then the pc freezes and i have to rebbot and go back into the bios
Ive tried increasing the voltage in small increments which helped to take the benchmarks a little furthe
Temps for cpu went to 38.5 degrees and still cant get it stable any ideas?
PS i have a ATI 9700pro as well

how high did you take the CPU voltage? yo might have to take it higher.

of course you're temps are going to go up somewhat as you add voltage, but 38 is nothing to get worked up about.
 
I had to really up the voltage to get mine to OC. try that, you seem to be running very cool so I wouldnt worry about cooling yet.

Whats the true capacity of your power supply? What I mean by that is not whats written on the side like "400W" I mean what are the amperage (A) specs for each voltage on the side of the power supply for:
3.3V = ?A
+5V =?A
+12V =?A
+5VSB =?A

These are the minimum recommended in the AMD desktop builders guide circa 2002 for a certifed 300W power supply.
+3.3V = 28A
+5.0V = 30A
+12.0V = 15A-18A
+5VSB = 2A-2.5A

How does your psu compare amperage wise?

I had to go to 2.1vcore to make my xp2500 hit 2.6ghz.

It ran stable like that for a year, then I replaced it with a new 939 system.
