Bargaining 101?

Alright so I know that at staples and costco you can't bargain but at best buy you can.

I am looking to purchase the LG 204 when it comes out in a few days and I want to shave a bit off the price tag. I notest a fellow [H]'er got a better price on a westy for buying some uber expensive cables and one other thing but then he returned everything except the westy. So my question is what should I "buy"/do so I can skim a little bit off the price of the monitor.

Is that a lcd monitor or a tv? For the most part the big chains will not budge on price for you. The reason they do it on tvs is that they are high margin items. If it is a tv then yea it may be worth trying.
