Hello, i have the parts to build a nice little P2 computer, and i would like to do it without a case this time (especially seeing as how i don't have a case ^_^).

Ive seen some people here on the [H]ard|Forum that have done it, and i was wondering if there is anything i should worry about?

Like what do i put all this stuff on? Is there chances of fires..... things melting? If so, what should i do to prevent this?

I say this, because i know the motherboard has those little metal solder points, and it can be dangerous to touch those. ZAP


Any suggestions would be VERY helpful!

Don't put it on Metal, paper, or anything flameable. Don't put any liquids near it, don't sit on it, don't bump into it, when you touch it make sure no watches, bracelets, etc aren't on your wrist, if you put it on a shelf, watch what type of wood you put it on.

All I can think of for now.
 
Hm, that being said... i don't think i have an opertunity to do a naked computer at the moment.

Just too dangerous. I read the 5 pages of the "naked computer" thread, and that gave me a little info too. I think im just gonna go to my local high school and snatch one of the bare cases i was working on..... seeing as how its being thrown out.

i think you should just screw it to a piece of wood and hang it from a wall... don't drop metal on it cause that will short something out..
if you want a shitty atx cause or a good AT case, i could help you out.. but you would have to pay me shipping and for the box i put it in and stuff...

Hah! I actually have screwed 4 of my former Mobo's to the wall. It's called the Wall of the Mobo's. Hehe
