barbs vs compression fittings.

i know this is a question that is asked OVER and OVER again. I'm sorry that its being asked again. i really do apologise.
i have at the moment 8 compresion fittings, Bitspower,
and 8 barbs black matte for 1/2 ID and 3/4 OD, i also have 8 Koolance Hose Clamps.

can i use a variety of clamps and compression fittings, so i use barbs inhard to see areas and ocmpression fittings in places where i want aesthetics?
has any one here used a hybrid of barbs and compression fittings or barbs only?

Barbs vs compression is really just a question of aesthetics in my opinion.

The only deal that matters is it would not affect flow if ALL the connectors were the same ID.

I have used barbs and compressions, no problems. I used barbs on my radiator fittings and compressions everywhere else.
I use only compressions now, mainly because I think they're easier to use and I like the way they look.

I always struggled with barb clamps and could never find one I liked.:D
 
Agreed the compression fittings are much sexier lol and better to work with
