How accurate is the cnet bandwidth test? Im trying to see how accurate they are Its saying Im at 7Mbs-10Mbs dwnload but that cant be right can it :) what other links are good for bandwidth tests?

Remember to divide by 8 to get how many bytes, but that does still seem very high. What connection do you have?

I have cable. The cable guy was here like 2 days ago (new house I just moved in) and Im thinking he messed up and didnt limit my bandwidth. haha? I did tons of cnet tests. 7-10mbs constant

I did move to the middle of freakin nowhere tho but I thought cable is still limited. I needa do more bandwidth tests where else has them besides cnet?

I'm not a big fan of the DSLReports tests. I have 6MBps DSL and DSL reports only said I could do 1.5MBps. Even though I've defnitly hit the max my connection will go.
