bake/reflow Macbook Air

A customer came in with a macbook air and recycled it. It beeps just one (RAM). do you guys think baking the logic board might fix this? Never attempted something like this but heard of the myths and stories of legends that this works wonders. I could use a laptop right now and a free macbook air would be super nice
