Hello all.

I have finally decided. I want the Intel board for several reasons.

Problem is . . .no one wants to confirm on their website that the product they are shipping is the correct conroe board - rev 304.

What gives? Those of you who have gotten this board, where did you get it from?

ZZF has one of the best prices. Can anyone confirm to me that they are shipping 304?

Help me out . . . proc is on the way.

Thanks guys!

I just ordered mine off ebay.

No one is going to check for you if you go through an e-tailer.

The only other thing is to wait until 4th quarter for the Bad Axe 2

some fry's have them on their shelves. you should go check them first. if you live in the SoCal area, City of Industry Fry's has them last time i checked but it's still expensive, $279.99US.

no clue. you can give them a call and see if they know other than that i wouldn't count on it. also recent reviews on newegg.com show that they are now shipping rev. 304 so if you can get it from them, then your all set.

No matter which mobo you order tankguys.biz will make sure it supports conroe or has a bios that supports it if necessary.

As for Bad axe good board but dont do the vdimm mod as it likes to kill itself when tahts done.

Call me cheap . . . but I think 269 shipped at tankguys vs. 227 shipped at ZZF . . is a gouging.

The lots-of-10 price for this mobo is ~190.

Taht is quite the mark up, didn't realize taht just new they would mark sure it was conroe ready.

Wait, it costs them $190 to stock that board?

And they are selling it for $250?

Holy hell, that's got to be the hugest profit margin I've ever seen.

I just noticed that ZZF has two versions of this board:

$227
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=240996

$247
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=240995

Each with free shipping.

I wonder what the chances are that THESE are 304's.

I see tons of folks on forums with this board . . . in the correct rev. Where the hell did they get them?

:)

What's interesting is the cheaper version comes with the optional silicon image sata controller and 1394 ports...

The $227 you are seeing is for the OEM version. The retail boxed version there is $247.00

Of course it is . ..

Question though is . . . . is it rev 304 . . . or not?

:)

I bought it at Tiger direct 2 weeks ago for $199.00, it is the 304rev

Ya.. They are nice enough to be honest about it.

Thumbs up for that.

Major thumbs down for that price gouge though.

And before you say that 255 is not that bad . . . . look at those astronomical shipping rates.

30 something bucks for fedex 2 day. LOL.
