A while ago, i tried flashing my 9500 pro to 9700, only to realize that my version of the 9500 is unflashable (oops!!). Now my card still works, but outside of windows, the display is not centered on the screen, now this hasnt really bothered me, but now when i install an os, i cannot see all the options, but ive installed windows xp enough times to guess which options are where, but i dont know where the options are for ubuntu, so i cant get it installed.

I tried flashing the bios back to the original, but the display is still not centered. is there something i missed? is there a way to modify the bios to fix this? Thanks.
 
Is there an auto-adjust button on your monitor?

This happens with my X850XT normally when I'm outside of Windows, but I just press auto-adjust and everything is centered again.
 
auto adjust will get it centered left to right, but not top to bottom.

i should just get a new card since mine is damn near 4 years old.
