Bad soundcard?

Hey I installed a soundcard months ago (last year) but It isnt a full year yet , The M-Audio Audiophile 2496 soundcard and I think its beginning to act up.

My comp just lockups and freezes when Im encoding or listening to music.

It cant be the ram because I removed a bad ram stick that had 13,000 errors and installed a new one with 0 errors.

So I was wondering is there any test I could run to found out ?
 
Yeah Memtest86 on your memory... or pull out the Revo, plug in your onboard and see if anything changes.
