So I took my silly Phone Case off my Samsung A26 and my eyestrain seems to have lessened. I thought might have been PWM of the Super Amoled display or Brightness. I think it was the darn bright green bezel causing me problems but I'm not totally sure. So I just ordered a all Black Phone Case off Amazon. My old Samsung S9 had Edge display but have been using a Moto G 2022 for past three years.

Is this like Bloom? Blurry filter just turned it off. Everything is better by these turned off even my Tapet Wallpaper Random Wallpaper generator is faster minus the Transparency.

Go into your Settings > Display > Screen resolution. Are you able to select a higher resolution from the options provided? If so try a higher or highest resolution, and see if that helped clear any blurriness.

Probably just need a new prescription for your glasses, and give your eyes a rest every now and then, and drink lots of water/electrolytes.

Astigmatism and other eye conditions, dehydration, and abnormal blood pressure/blood sugar can all cause eye strain and fuzzy/blurred vision. Take care of yourself, and give the phone a rest. ;)

I just YouTube screen resolution for a A36 a similar phone. There is no option to change it's fixed by default.

Removing the Blur and Transparency fixed my problem basically. I enabled Animations because my Fetch Reward app wasn't doing Animations. The eyestrain I was getting was similar to Bloom but couldn't figure it out for a week and half. The strain was so bad felt like my optic nerve was strained and frying at the same time making me surf the net in circles without reason.

Picked up a different Case All Black Walmart ONN special like it better already. I found if I have any Warm Filter my eyes get all dry and strainned at work so I have Cool filter turned up in Vivid I read on Reddit someone said it's the only way to go. I had Blur and Transparency turned back off for maybe a day I wonder how long it was on. I might have turned it on but now I have a shortcut on the Home Screen.

After using the All Black Walmart Onn case decided it sucks. Too heavy went back to my green bezel case. Surfing the net with the Onn phone case was a big awash. The green bezel case is higher adds character to phone acts as a window.

Also, stop staring into a device too much, Studies have found the reason for most eye strain is that people do not blink enough when looking at devices (mobile / tablets / computer screens) and thus dries out the eyes and causes issues.

Along with people also not resetting their focus, every 20 mins or so, look away at something at least 15-20ft away to refocus your eyes, preferably out a window or something..

As silly as this found adding a blue filter mutes the harsh whites. Hardforum looks bad though. If Android had a grey theme

Update: Don't do this might seem good but it just bad after a few hours.

I can't use this phone gave it a good 2 weeks going to have to curb it for general use I should of bought a Moto G 2025 which has a LCD screen.
I could still do that but would have to covert everything over. It just isn't comfortable enough for my eyes when going from Device to Device. I'm not sure what AMOLED screen they used but it sucks and the color adjustment don't even work on the phone there is no white point slider. Nobody is going to save you from bad tech in this world maybe that is why everyone drives cars badly today they are blinded by bad tech.

Nah, they just dumb.

The worst phone case I ever bought was Google's own case for the Pixel 6. It was $30 and and offered only the most basic protection with a super tiny lip to protect the screen. After 3 months of normal use (in my pocket 90% of the time), the damn thing started to melt and warp. So much so that it wasn't even snug. It was unusable after a single quarter. The phone wasn't particularly warm, either. It was just a piece of shit. That's all while you could get perfectly serviceable cases on Amazon for $10. Luckily that one seemed to be a one-off. Google's cases before and since are way better. They're never great, but at least they work and they don't melt.

Spigen Tough Armor or Rugged Armor are my goto cases. For cheaper cases I use Crave Dual Guard.

Call me retro but the first official apple real leather case (in think for the iPhone 5 or 6) was awesome. Very thin but had plenty of protection at the exposed corners. It also had a nice liner inside the thin shell, and seemed to dissipate heat better than all the subsequent cleat cases I’ve used since then. Didn’t seem to weigh much but still felt luxurious in the hand, and aged with patina instead of wear.

All of the newer leather cases are either cheap with a plasticky feel or over $100. So dumb.

In general, I liked the official Apple cases/bumpers the entire time I had iPhones. They did their job and they looked nice, too. That was in the era of the iPhone 3G up through the iPhone 5.
Looking at the ones they offer now, I'm unimpressed. They look just like the stuff Google is selling, but they're charging even more.

They've got a good fit and finish to them, and of course they support the full feature set (MagSafe, Camera Control). But Apple has dropped leather for environmental reasons and isn't selling an alternative (its FineWoven material was... subpar), so the official cases aren't alluring as they used to be. I would want more than a cheap $15 Amazon case, mind you!

Finally got my Eyes back after that 6.7" A26 got to me I'm no longer using it for surfing but for phone use only and a few other things like Fetch Rewards.
I started using my Samsung S9 which I got back in 2019 but I had the wrong setting on for the past two days was using Cinema mode which causes me distress at work. so I'm on Adaptive brightness now I forgot how much I liked using the Qi charging the battery is still ok I took usage down to Medium so it last longer. I think my problem was either the colors on the A26 or it the phone size which is 6.7" which is the biggest phone I ever used. Or it was going from OLED to LCD back to OLED so I figured if I use my Samsung S9 I can't avoid another LCD device. I still have a LCD phone for work but it's required for punching in a out for Walmart kinda sucks if it goes wonky let me tell you....

I think the Samsung S9 has a screen size of 5.8" which is small but my eyes like it over the 6.7" I think the 6.1 google Pixel oled version looks like the perfect size but don't own one.

This colour is so shouty and could strain your site. Your instinct is correct.
There are two reasons for using phone case,
1. For aesthetics
2. For protection.
To me, I give protection 80% attention while leaving 20% for aesthetics. The reason why I stick to grey silicon phone case.
