Bad monitors are terrible!

I have been using a PVA monitor since 2004(?) and an IPS monitor since shortly thereafter.

I recently got a laptop with a cheap cheap TN screen, and I can hardly stand to look at it.

The viewing angle, colors, and contrast are utter garbage. The laptop was cheap and has its specific uses so I am OK with it... but.. wow.. it proves how important decent monitor tech is.

yeah, as a photographer that uses PVA and IPS screens, it's sometimes a little saddening how clients can't truly appreciate some of my photos
