Bad idea?

Is it a bad idea (is it generally frowned on) to do water loops on a horizontal board?

I currently have a H100 on my 4790K in a HAF XB Evo. Running Prime95 on 4.6GHz @ 1.275v sends temps to 100C with thermal throttling. I'm considering going to the EK predators 240, and possibly expanding later to my gpu. Just wondering if this is a no-no with a horizontally mounted board for obvious reasons.
Has anyone else done this?

Not a problem if you make sure everything is very secure.
Test offboard first.

Been running mine horizontal for the last 4 years or so, never had an issue. A leak is a leak, so unless you are running them upside down and horizontal, you have the same issue regardless.

probably not worth getting $200 cooler for that, i'd sell all of that and get a better mobo/cpu
