Bad IBM - Data recovery??

Ive got a IBM drive that's gone bad and i'd REALLY like some data off of it. I belive the drive is a 60gxp, the successor to the DeathStar. here's a pic of the drive.


the drive will make a repetative accessing noice/scratching noise when it is accessed, and it causes windows to boot very slowly when it's plugged in for some reason.

I already put the drive in the freezer, there was no change.

would it be possible to swap out the PCB with another 60gxp in case my PCB is fried?

anyone have any other ideas?
