bad drivers???!?!?!?

i recently re-built m comp with new parts, i get it running, install windows, and all the driver, i have a radeon 9500np64mb video card, when i installed the 2 drivers for it off of the ati web site and restarted as told to for each one, when i log back on from restart i get a message saying:

"CLI,exe - Unable To Locate DLL
The dynamic link library mscoree.dll could not be found in the specified path C:\program files\ATI Technologies\ati.ace;.;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT...... ect."

this also is seen when i click on the ATI Catalyust Control Center icon.

HELP!!!!
 
Did you install Microsoft Net Framework 1.1? You need that in order to run the CCC version of the ATI drivers. The message you get at startup is from the CCC panel trying to pop up if I remember. Personnaly, I would get a program like driver cleaner, wipe the old drivers from your system, and install just the control panel drivers. They are easier to use and the panel is faster. ;)

does it wipe ALL of the drivers from your computer? or just select ones?
 
now, i installed that framework thing, and i don get that message anymore. but now i still cant play any games. for instance: i click on its icon witht eh game in the cd-ddrive, the frist game screen comes up (telling me what is loading i guess) then it disapears, then it is supposed to load the game, but it doesnt, the cd drive slowly decreases untill it stops, thus, the game not loading.

then another game i can load fine, then like 30 seconds into it, it just freazes making me restart my comp.

WTF PLEASE HELP, its been messed up with so many problems for so long, i just want my computer back.
