I recently got a new PCI-E motherboard, so I decided to upgrade to the X800pro VIVO from sapphire. I installed it and it was fine the first day, then while playing on the second day, I started getting artifacts, and they stayed. Now the whole computer has artifacts, in bios, dos and windows.

Here is how it looks:

Is this a defective card?
 
that happened to me. i ordered a X800, and i didnt know they left it on my back "door" which is my porch, but it was out there the whole night, and i put it in, and the same thing happened to me, except kinda worse, could barely see anything, i just replugged it and it worked. no idea, im guessing you already tried doing that by now :confused:
 
I tired cleaning it, looking at the port and taking it out numerous times. It gets good after a while, then it randomly comes back for long periods of time. Looks like I have to RMA :(
