backup restore question

I had a raid failure which caused FS corruption, and it corrupted my FAH folder, so I just restored a 2 day old backup.

Can I just restart it where it left off, or am I better off downloading a new WU? What happens if the WU in the backup was completed already, will it know to dump it and get a new one?

It depends on the speed of your cpu(s) if you can still complete before the PREFERRED deadline then fire it back up, if beyond that it has already been reassigned so i would delete and move on

I'd restart it first to see it will fold. The science gets done but the bonus points takes a hit if you are running -bigadv.
I would imagine that if the client sees that the wu is completed or exceeded the deadline it would move on to something else.

Cool, I'll just keep going then. I just did not want it to think I'm trying to cheat by sending a partially done WU that I may have already sent. Guess they must have code to account for that and just ignore/restart it. They seem to be starting up ok. I don't think they were already done anyway.
