backup for raid 0

Can I backup a raid 0 array onto one storage disk?
Can I then put that back on a raid 0 array, or do I need to set up 0+1 with four drives?

It's just my OS/Apps drive, so it's not like I couldn't reinstall everything, it's just a pain in the ass, so I wanted to just have an image of it.

Yes you can backup a raid 0 array onto a single hard drive, provided that the single hard drive is large enough to accomodate your data.
