Backlights clearly visible

I have a 710T and the backlights are clearly visible when the screen is black. I just went back to the store and they tested it and of course we didn't see nothing (d-sub and DVI). It was OK in the store.

How is this possible? What causes this, that I can see the backlights so clearly? Is it because my room is darker than the store, or can my videocard be the problem?

Edit: It seems I almost can't see the backlights when my room is bright.

Yeah, it is. I guess I'm just whining... I'll leave it with this, I think the monitor is very good. Only when you see the nVidia-logo ("the way it''s meant to be played") the backlights reflect clearly.

Close this.

Yeah, I meant close the thread. It's no use anymore, it's my home lighting.

Well, considering this is a nerd-filled board, i think many users may sympathize with you. I imagine most of the people on this board hardly ever see the sunlight... or even light for that matter ;)

It's a valid complaint, but probably you something you can't do much about..

:D I guess not.

Back lighting issues suck. But is it so bad you notice it during normal windows and game play use? If not who gives a Rats A@# . Now if it were a stuck pixel in the middle of the screen then yup thats a real problem!

What do you mean? That you can see little "pinches" of light around the edges when the screen is black? If so it's common to almost all LCDs, even high-end ones. If you start to see it during normal use, with windows open, etc., then it's RMA time.
