I have a 19" Dell E193 LCD monitor. When playing games when the enviroment is dark, the bottom of the screen seems bright. A lot brighter than other parts of the monitor. Is this normal?
Yes and no. You have backlight bleeding at the bottom. It can occur anywhere around the edges. It's a typical LCD problem and if it doesn't normally bother you then don't bother with it. There is nothing you can do other than replacing it.
