Hello, I just got my self a Samsung 205BW 2 days ago and I think I'm having a bit of backlight bleeding at the top of the monitor... I'm Not to sure as this is my first LCD. When I'm watching movies in the dark i notice the top black area is lighter than the bottom black area.

Heres a pic but the Camera exaggerates the brightness, Its a blackbackground btw.

Heres a bigger version

It is kinda annoying i guess, but it's only visible when my room is dark And that section of the monitor is displaying dark colours. Should I get it returned to the shop I bought it from?

Ty in advance

It's a TN lcd technology (16.2 million colors gave it away, 6-bit). It's normal for backlight to be that bright because of the TN technology. Bleeding on the top is another issue...

Try returning it because the backlight bleeding should be uniform.

So I should return the screen? I dont care about how Dark the blacks are and such, Just the top bit.
