Backlight Bleed Issue

Hey guys,

I had a 23" Acer G235H given to me for my birthday about two weeks back and I've got a problem. The backlight bleed at the bottom of the monitor is horrendous. When gaming against a dark background the backlight bleed shines through like the rays of 10,000 suns...okay well maybe not that bad but it's bugging me enough to make this thread.

Is there a way to lessen the bleed other then to RMA the monitor?

Turn down the brightness to about 25-35. If that doesn't help RMA
