so currently i have a small office running WHS v1 as a Quickbooks Server and would like to back up the company files to my house. I use to back up the files using a WHS console and a usb harddrive, but im rarely in the office nowadays. would it be possible to setup some kind of iscsi to backup to my home server (mac pro server)?

i have a fortinet appliance at the office and at home that i can create a tunnel if that helps.

thanks!

Your absolute best bet would be to setup an sftp server on your mac. All the information can be found here http://www.maciverse.com/how-to-turn-on-your-macs-sftp.html and you have the software built in to the os already. All you would need is an sftp aware ftp client for the pc. Since you have vpn boxes at both ends, just open a tunnel or two on each end and you will have double-secure transfers, ssh over vpn.
