Backing up Colleagues Laptops?

Hey Network Administrators,

Are you guys obligated at work, to Back-up co-workers Laptops/Desktops?
Just as long, there is a Storage on LAN, Backing up a Laptop is easy - why would "they" need help?
 
Their My Documents are redirected to a share on the server. Anything on their desktop we are not responsible for if it disappears and we make sure to tell them that. We backup old workstations if we replace them using Ghost to an external drive just to have a backup. General use workstations we don't backup.

Pretty much the same for us. Their My Documents, Dekstop, IE favorites and a few other folders are redirected to file servers. Desktops and laptops don't get backed up at all.
 
No, users here have shared drives that are backed up via the NOC. We are about to do a roll out of new desktops and laptops, we will only x-fer My Documents, My Desktop, Lotus ID file, and Favorites. But we never back up.
 
Everything on their personal 'Z' drive is backed up every night. Nothing on the desktop itself is backed up. When I setup a new computer, I transfer whatever is in My Documents (being sure to tell them that they should work from the Z drive), Desktop, and their Outlook PST file(s).
