My friend has an 2007 apple laptop that she wants me to back up.
Long story short i have alot of experience fixing windows laptops but very little work with apple products.
The computer will not boot for some reason, so i hooked the hard drive up to my windows computer, using macdrive 8. For some reason i cannot find her documents. If i use treesize, i can see that 50gb of the 160 is taken up by files, but i cannot view the missing 40 gb. I can view all of the system files, but it seems like the documents are missing/hidden. Does apple have some kind of configuration where i have to take over permissions to view files or am i just missing something.
