I just got so sick of my overclocked X2 3800+ that I decided to buy a Celeron D and the cheapest motherboard I could find. Now this is smoothness.
(BTW, Fry's B&M has ECS 915P-A motherboards on clearance for $19.90)

Actually I decided to dump my X2 due to the big price drop coming in a couple of weeks. Last week some sucker paid me $310 for a used X2 3800+ ($230 from Dell back in January) and AN8-SLI motherboard ($42 @ monarch clearance).
I prefer the steady price declines instead of these sharp drops.
Next it's either going to be a 965 + cheap Pentium D/Cedar Mill Celeron or 965 + E6600, depending on Conroe availability.
This Celeron D isn't that bad. I had to reinstall Windows and upgraded Ubuntu and both are running fine speed-wise.
