Back speakers not working :(

Hey... i have an audigy and for some reason... my back speakers aren't working. I tried plugging them into the front speaker port thing and they worked fine and everything's set to 4 speakers. Is my sound card all broked up? :(
 
What kind of sounds are you playing? If you're playing stereo sounds (such as most music), then the audio might only output on the front speakers depending on how they are set up in software.

I'm not sure about the original Audigy, but I know that my Audigy 2 ZS has an option in the software to enable CMSS 3D. You might want to play with this setting if you want to output stereo into 'surround' sound.

Then again, you might not have the speakers set up in software correctly.
 
everything seems set up right. i don't think there's a cmss 3d on audigy 1's. and i'm using the surround sound test thign (that plays sound out of each speaker). still nothin... maybe i'll try completely reinstalling drivers or something. thanks!

You might want to check the "Digital Output Only" setting. If this is checked, then you might only hear sound in the front or back speakers (in my experience, this disables the front speakers rather than the rear, but it's worth checking out).
