Back case fan not working

I just put in a new heatsink, and unplugged a few things to get to it. One of them was the back case fan. Even though my temps are down about 8C, I would like it if the fan worked. :)
It spins a little bit when I hit the power button, but other than that, the only thing it does is make a very light grinding noise.

Thanks for the help you guys,

sounds like your bearings are shot. Replace the fan. Grinding noises are not good, or normal.

Update: Check that the self-tapping screws holding that fan in are not too tight. if they are, it will pull the fan too close to the case metal, put pressure on the motor housing, make weird noises, and keep the fan from spinning. You will eventually overload the fan motor, and burn it out. Something to check. 1 1/4 turn to loosen the fan (on all 4 screws) should be suffient to check. If it's still making noise, just replace it.
