• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Back again for help with another build.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming and general use. I play many game types, shooters, mmo's and have now even messed with a few mobas.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1500.00 us yes can stretch to $1600.00 if it means a much better part.
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Pompano Beach, FL
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Case,PSU,ram, hdd, mobo, cpu, video card, OS
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Monitor, mouse, kb, possibly the ssd I am using now for my XBO.
6) Will you be overclocking? No I don't think so.
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
2560x1440 32"
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Asap - Unless there is a good reason to wait.
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
usb 3.0
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit? No, I will want a 64bit OS. I am unsure if if I should get win7 which I have on my machine now, or get 8 while waiting for 10.

I was hoping to get suggestions as I have before. Is the new processor releasing that soon?

Yes, it should be early August.

Typical of new launches, the price of the cheapest motherboards will be a little over $100. You will also have to pay a premium for DDR4 if you buy it next month.

But since you don't have a restrictive budget, there should be more than enough play for that.

I'm not so sure about availability, because the Broadwell 4-core desktop launch came and went:

What are the chances that Intel will be on-the-ball with it's replacement?

Well there is no rush. It is more of a want it than need it. So perhaps I should wait until then.
