Picked up an additional to 6970 to Xfire but was shocked to see that even though my Corsair AX850 came w/ two 6+2 pin PCIE connectors that there are only 2 inputs on the PSU. The only problem w/ this is that my 12V ATX connector uses 1 of the 2 leaving me without a way to hook up my 2nd GPU....

WTF am I missing here? I know the card is SLI/XFire compatible, but I can't get by without hooking up the 12V ATX cable....or can I?????

Below is pic of the back of my PSU

The only thing I can think of is you're trying to plug the cables into the wrong outputs. The AX850 should have enough plug-in places to handle 4 PCI-E connectors. Try looking at your manual for proper connections?

According to the pics that has to be it...of course I was trying to figure this out @ 6 in the morning
