AX800 PRO to XT PE

Does anyone know how to do this??? Or maybe have a link to a detailed walkthrough? Or just tell me if I shouldn't do this...What will this do for me if I flash the bios to that of an xt pe? Will it unlock the extra pipes? Will it increase the temperature of my card? I have a good cooler on my card so it could probably handle the temperature increase if there was one.

hmmm I'm not sure if I want to do it now...I dont really want to fuck up my card. I thought I could just software mod it to get the extra 4 pipes...but I guess you have to hard mod it. Looks too risky

It's your $$, but if you have a xt core (serial number ending in "1"), then it almost always works. Up to you, though - the performance and the risk are both there.
