hey all! just found this after it came up in another thread since popular echanics used one in their desk build (front page news from a couple days ago.) thought id point it out over here since it could make for some excellent case mods. i hope someone can put this to awesome use!

haha fixed mine. idk why it did that. added in a bunch of XXXX... anyway yeah thanks bluefireice.

Seen this a while back (always looking for mod items and risers are always fun to play with) and really wish they were much cheaper, atleast $15 or so cheaper....

Now the possibility of a slim GTX285 system is a bit closer to fruition.

yeah exactly. im about to build a sff full atx case, and one of these could totally change the rules. but alas, im not willing to spend almost $60 on one. if you ust want to change the orientation but not placement theres a 3" on ebay for $45 shipped.

These have always been around... specifically for 1U, and 2U server cases where full-height PCI slots don't exist...

servercase.com has a good selection, bought my YY cube from there years ago.

These guys make most of the risers that the other places mark up and resell [do the pictures on other web sites' catalogs look stolen from here? just sayin ;)]
When I say make them, I mean you call with your credit card and for less $$$ you get any length flex riser you want the next day. If you want x4 or x8 they will saw the goldfingers too.
I got some right and left variants for messing with my Shuttle X38, since both the PCIe-16 slots are right next to each other.

Also give these guys a look, just for something different

can you buy from them? i couldnt find any prices. if you can find a place to buy them that arent $50+, that would be awesome!

Yup, just call the number on their web site for current pricing - I don't recall what I paid a year ago, but it was much less than $50 :)
