Needed modular cables for my Rosewill 1000 watt bronze. I contacted customer support asking if I could BUY those cables from them. They said that I needed to verify the warranty of the unit. I referred them to the account on newegg where it was ordered. They said that it had to have my shipping address attached to the newegg account - I had recently moved. I updated it. Then I'm being asked to RMA / return the entire unit for "service/repair". Epic fail on Rosewill's part. All I need is the modular cable that hooks up to the PSU and then provides some molex cables. I don't know where to physically purchase this, and I don't think it is available to purchase third party otherwise I would have.

I'm not going to package up my power supply which is currently hooked up to my system to send it to them to receive another power entire power supply and possibly get some modular cabling included maybe a month or so later.

Epic fail Rosewill. Will avoid Rosewill from now on - Bad customer service.

'Jesus' was the name at the bottom of the RMA form. Not a bad guess on your part though.

Honestly thinking of buying a cord that'll convert the videocard power plugs into a molex. Not sure what the terminology here is for the other connector style. atx?

Do you mean the 4 pin molex connector that looks like this?

If so then you have a few options.

1. You could convert the PCI-e (GPU) 6, 6+2 and 8 PIN connectors to the molex connector.
2. You could just get a y adapter that turns one molex into two (or more) connectors.

What are you trying to plug in? Fans?

Looks like the Rosewill unit uses standard plugs. It's possible for you to make your own cables, but not sure if you want to take the time to do that.

Newegg has been crap lately. On top of no longer having good prices, their customer service is getting poor. The only thing I've bought from them lately is a tool set.

I had a similar experience with Corsair. The SATA power plugs were too short to plug into some drive carriers, so I asked for some IDE-SATA adapters. They refused to send any, but a manager who went by two different names (two different first and last names) offered to refund my money, pay for return shipping, and let me keep a $30 rebate.

Does Monoprice have suitable cables?

I tried this with Kingwin. Needed modular cables.

They were willing to sell cables for $7 each + shipping.

This is standard practice from most companies that sell/make PSUs. I've never had a problem with Rosewill customer service. Also its not pronounced Jesus its like this:

Hey Zuess...

Rosewill is Newegg's house brand. Occasionally they stamp their name on very good products and make them cheap so they look like a winner.

I purchased an adapter to convert some cables. Will be going corsair and recommending corsair in the future. I opened up another RMA 'ticket' and no one even got back to me. Rosewill is OUT. Hopefully this information hurts them .000001%
