Avocent SwitchView IP setup

Hi

Im trying to access the video on this device, I can log into the device, but when i press connect video (tersted in firefox and IE9)

I get VPViewer failed to install -- Please check browser security settings.

Can I VNC into this device? Starting to wonder if im going to be able to use this thing!

After some research turns out it only works in IE8

It downloads something called VPClient.exe (so guessing windows only and im on a mac!)

Wondering how I can launch this exe individually but assuming it needs some parameters passed onto it
