Downloaded AVG and its asking for a sales number or liscence number. I thought this program was free... is there a free version to downlaod? Or am i jus being dumb?
 
You need to register on the AVG site and they email you a registration number. It's free, but you do have to register.
 
Clicked register on the AVG site and it asks for sales number still... can someone send me a link to the registration page?
 
yeah it found 5 virii that norton 2003 never. Btw.. norton 2k3 is now history. this aint my setup. i run norton 2k5 pro on my pc. But needed a free solution to clean up this POS
 
I have AVG installed but not running all the time
I leave symantec antivirus running.

Symantec Corporate > Shit > Norton 2005
