Geforce 6600GT
2 gigs of 333mhz ram!

Im not sure how good the 6600GT is cuz i have bought it yet.. dont tell me to buy the 6800im askin bout the 6600GT.. with thsoe specs how smooth will i run it out of 1-10.. will i get any chops.. im planning on plsay hl2 , cs:s, and doom3 with the 6600GT under those specs. ( May impove in future ) lol .. what fps will i get in cs;s i will run all those games on 1024x768 highest settings without that aa stuff on .. i dont like that.. will i run all that like perfectly.. because the 6600GT outperforms both the 9800 pro and the 9800proXT in all reviews.. the 9800 pro cant keep up with it.. thanks!! //\\//\\ = UNIT!

From what I understand, the 6600GT is faster than my 9800Pro, and with my 9800 Pro, I get 50-75fps in CSS with everything on high, 4x AA 16x AF at 1024x768, vsync on (refresh at 75), and same in HL2, only I get about 45-75ish fps... I generally had got 75fps constantly throughout the game, until the last chapter. I'd assume the 6600GT would, with my settings (including vsync) would probably pull off... I'd say something like 75fps in CSS and pretty similar in HL2.. Although, I have no evidence of this, Im just guessing from what I've heard and read around here/other sites. Hope that helps any.

Mine wouldnt unlock :( The 6800NU 128mb is still best because you have a good chance of unlocking. I'm just an unlucky person I guess :(

I thought the previous generation boards couldn't run 16x AF, only 8x AF

If I could ever get my control panel to open again, I'd take a screen shot and post it. I've been able to run 16x AF with my last 2 ATi cards (9600XT/9800 Pro) the only one I had that I cant honestly say could run at 16x AF was my 9000 Pro.. That was quite aways back now.

k so the 6600GT or the regular 6800 for 225 or 275.. the nu is the same ass the 6800 .. Nu stands for non ultra dn thats the 6800 .. so 6800 or 6600GT why?>?!?!?!?
