Woke up this morning and started my system, immediately flooded by Bitdefender notifications in my tray that keep popping up every 1-2 seconds and have not stopped since - it's some sort of phishing attempt, the bitdefender notification looks something like:
phishing attempt localhost:49864/socket.io/?X_LOCAL_SECURITY_COOKIE=12332188F7F43E3F92E2A7C41AFD48000&EIO=3&transport=polling&t=1542116917221-342
They just keep coming through, over and over. No idea how to stop this or what exactly is causing it. Just wondering if anyone's ever seen something like this or could help to describe what it is and how to stop it.
EDIT: Nm, Bitdefender actually helped me out and patched something for me that fixed my issue. From the fact that I'm using a free version of their software, pretty nice.
