Auzen x-fi prelude problem

Hi guys maybe you can help me i cant seem to get my sound card to work with both headphones and my 5.1 speakers plugged in. The headphones will work but only plugged into the jack nearest to the mic,line in jacks does anyone know how to set them up to both work at the same time?

dam thats to bad was hoping it was just like onboard audio where you cant set each jack to a specific channel what if use the optical cable to route sound to my speakers and plug the headset like before?

you can use the headphones set as the "surround speakers" in a 7.1 setup, but they won't offer the proper soundfield if you are trying to use them strictly as a 2 channel setup for games and such. maybe the 5.1 speakers have a headphone jack/ passthrough you can use to switch between the two, or maybe a splitter cable to run into the front channel jack might work. why would you want to use both 5.1s and headphones at the same time?

im using the headphones for gaming and the speakers for everything else music movies etc and when i was using onboard audio i had everything conected on the back and just dialed down the volume of the speakers when gaming with its own volume control knob i have tried using the front panel audio for the headphones but they dont sound right in games like from the backpanel and regarding the 7.1 mode as you said im not getting a proper soundfield considering my needs should i just bare with it or go back to onboard?
