Automatically disable Realtek onboard when using USB headset?

Any way to do this? I have Realtek onboard driving a set of 2.1 speakers. I also have a pair of Corsair Vengeance 2000's. Ideally, when turning on the USB headset, I would like the sound to automatically come out of the headset. This is not the case, currently. I have to go to the control panel and disable the Realtek. Then when switching back, I have to re-enable. I can do it, but it's getting old as I have to close out of what I am doing for the changes to be effective. I have tried setting the USB headset to the default sound, but this does not seem to fix it either. Any options?
 
You shouldn't need to disable the chipset, simply change the default audio chipset. You should have two options for default audio (Realtek & the USB chipset). Assuming the headset is disconnected when not in use, you should be able to select the USB chipset as the default. When it's not connected, Windows should then automatically switch to the Realtek chipset.

The headset is wireless, so the receiver is always plugged in and the system always sees it. Looks like I can switch it by going to playback devices and changing the default each time, but still requires a restart of anything that delivers sound.
