I am going to get an APC line R AVR to fix brownouts caused by my refrigerator...
I already have a surge strip, it would be a lot easier and cheaper if I can just get a IEC > 3pin UK plug adapter and plug the surge strip into the AVR, this would mean less cables / adapters I would need to buy and should also give more surge protection than the AVR on its own?... But will this cause any problems or interfere with the voltage going to ground etc. if there is a power surge?
Plug socket > AVR > Surge Strip > Electronics
This would save me having to buy loads of IEC cables and an IEC > 4 way UK plug adapter so would be much easier and hopefully give better surge protection... But could this setup interfere with the surge protection if there was a power spike and make things worse?
Thanks
