There was an application or website that let you install things like AVG, Spybot, messenger apps, etc from a single screen. You checked a box next to any software you wanted and it would download and install automatically. You could also register and save your settings

For the life of me I can't find it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Thanks

I've seen a bunch of warnings against using it though, as you apparently don't get to customize the installs, such as choosing to not install included toolbars.

This..

avoid site at all cost.

The site has this in the header

Code:
[B]No Toolbars[/B]
        Ninite says "No" to toolbars
and other junk.

Is this false?

I don't know maybe I am paranoid, but it seems kinda scary to have potentially lots of software 'automatically' installed on my computers with one click.:D

Although, it may be like a package manager similar to YUM, APT, Appupdater, or Fink I suppose

I used the site the other day. It installed no additional software.

In fact, I even had to register VNC as a service. It didn't even do that.
