auto uv light used in case?

since a car's power system runs 12v, what would stop me from getting some cheap auto blacklight from pepboys and slicing into a power connector in my case?

if not, what is the chepest way to get 2 decent uv light in the case, enough to light up everything nicely?

i know xoxide or even frozencpu sells them for around 8 to 14 bucks. which is better than those car cigarette lighter ones....they have those bulky pieces of plastic on the ends and would be hard to hide

The first case I lit used the AutoZone lights. There's nothing to stop you... in fact, don't stop there... anything that works in your car's dash will also work in your computer.

Cigarette lighter? Yep.
Light-up Dice? Yep.
DVD player LCD screen? You betcha.

Take a look at your dash and think about the possibilities!

I am currently running a Blue CCFL from Wal-Mart. I broke apart the case that held it, shrink wrapped the transformer, added a molex connector, and added velcor around the ends to holdit in place, The tube has shrink wrap on the ends and theres a really fine wire running the length of the tube. i like it cause sense it dont have the blocks mounted on the ends I can place it in the lower side of my case and you cant actually see the tube but you can definatly see the light coming from it. It could also fit in other places that the ones with the cubes on the ends wont fit.
The hardest part of doing this is making sure to get the polarity of the wires correct, other than that it is really easy to do.
