Hey Kyle,

I grew up in IRC and forums like many here and sometimes I'll use the ol' colon end parenthesis as a smiley face and the forum likes to automatically change it to an emojii.

Is there a way within the User Control Panel or can you make an adjustment to the forum to use plain old fashioned text and only use smileys when chosen by the user?

I know it's old fashioned. But hey. Old fashioned is hip. We can get ahead of the curve. You know. Before cool was cool...

Nope, never use the menu at all basically, only really use it for stupid shit like yourself.

I like the way its setup at the moment, where it auto detects and pastes the appropriate smiley automatically.

Much better than old irc text smileys IMHO.
