Im sure someone here knows how to do this, but here is my situation. Im getting ready to leave the country for a few months, and i am leaving my boxes to fold while im gone. they will be running with no keyboard or monitor, i just want them to turn on and go. Problem: because my roommates are, well, stupid, and i dont feel like them getting any brigh ideas when im gone and actually useing my computers, i want my boxes to be turned on, and the program for folding run, without anyone haveing to log on. I have to keep my files so useing that program that is on disk it not going to work. Im running XP Pro on both. I figure i can set it to run on startup, but will that work if there is no user logged on? Please help.
 
agreed. Install the program as a service. It will start as soon as windows boots up to a user logon.
 
I believe that you use the -configonly command on the icon your using to start up. It should prompt you for the User name and team id. Also, one of the questions should be "Setup as a service?" Answer yes and it will autoconfig itself.
