Hiya I'm looking to get this case, reviews are great and I love the way it looks. My only reservation is that getting black drive bays may look funny. :p What color drive bays did you get? Can you post a pic?

Thanks! :D

if you mean drives they do make silver drives, (a bit harder to find,) but they are out there...link Like I say not many, but they are out there.

You could just get the black case... Anyway, it has a door so does it really matter that colour the drives are?

The reviewers of this case, IMHO, are insane. I tried an Aurora and it was just terrible.

Look at the HD mounting bay. It's perpendicular to the 120mm intake fan and has hardly any holes in it. If that weren't bad enough, the fan also has a very restrictive grille on it that's built into the case and is not removable. Between these two restrictions, incoming air is almost completely cut off. On the Aurora versions with the side window, this chokes the case airflow. On the versions with the side grille, the dual rear 120mm fans suck air directly from the side grille and out the back, bypassing much of the system.

The HD mounting bay also has terrible acoustics. It's made of ultra thin aluminum. If you have a chance to check it out in a store, try rattling your car keys against the HD bay to see what a racket it makes. I put a Raptor in my test system and its seeks sounded like a tin can full of rocks in a paint mixer machine. Now I understand why some people think the Raptor is noisy -- it never sounded like that in a Stacker.

The 120mm intake fan has a filter on it, but you have to remove the entire front panel to clean it, which requires removing both side panels (the off-side panel has no quick release or thumbscrews). When the front panel finally comes loose, it's still attached by its wire harness so it's tough to get out of the way to clean the filter.

The case has an impressive heavy aluminum front door, but behind it is the real (plastic) case front, with a bunch of rattly cheap plastic Chieftec style drive bay covers. Fundamentally, it's all style and no substance. I strongly recommend something better designed with drives mounted lengthwise and noies isolated, such as the Antec P150, Lian-Li A16, Cooler Master Stacker T01, Antec Nine Hundred, etc.
