Excuse me, someone can tell me what is this ?

To me seems a power connector ( in this photo is the european plug, not usa plug ), so i think can be used to plug the power cable of the speakers ( A2 o A5 ) to got only one power plug instead two to the wall connector, is it possible ?

yeah... that is what it is...an outlet... assuming (which I imagine they do or audioengine would be morons) the A2 or A5 are under the 120Watt max listed for the outlet you could plug them in there.

It's an outlet that provides power all the time, versus a switched outlet that provides power when the subwoofer is turned on. Helps with cable management (say for their smaller powered speakers) or whatever else you might want in there. Maybe an Airport Express?
